FAQs

How thick can my desk be?

The clamp accommodates desks from 0 to 6,5 cm thick, which covers almost every standard and standing desk.

Will it hold up to a hard handbrake pull?

That is what it is built for. Handbrake inputs put far more force through a mount than a shifter does, which is why clamping a handbrake straight to a desk edge usually ends in flex and creaking. This mount uses a rigid plate and a heavy-duty clamp so the lever moves and nothing else does.

Can I mount just a shifter, or just a handbrake?

Yes. The plate takes both side-by-side, but you can run a single peripheral and use the remaining space later if you add one.

My shifter is not on the compatibility list. Will it fit?

Most likely. The plate is designed around the common bolt patterns used across sim racing peripherals, including generic USB handbrakes. Send us your model before ordering and we will confirm against the mounting template.

Is the angle adjustable?

Partly. The shifter plate is fixed, since an H-pattern shifter works best sitting square and a fixed plate has no adjustment points that can loosen under repeated hard shifts. The handbrake mount is adjustable, so you can angle the lever toward you and set the pull direction that matches how you sit.
