Why a flat bottom?


Two reasons. It clears your legs in a tight cockpit or a wheel-mounted-low setup, and the flat section gives you an instant visual reference for straight ahead — useful on corner exit and after a spin.

What is this rim best suited to?


GT3, touring car and modern road car racing, plus any setup where cockpit space is limited. It also works well as an everyday all-rounder if you race several classes.

How does this compare to the GT3 cup?

Same 320mm diameter and same suede finish. The cup version shapes your hands into fixed positions at ten and two; this one keeps a cleaner profile and prioritises legroom. If you are unsure, the D-shape is the more versatile of the two.

Will this fit my wheelbase?


These rims use the universal 6-bolt pattern, which is the standard across sim racing. That covers direct drive bases and quick release adapters from Moza, Simagic, Fanatec, Asetek and Cammus, plus aftermarket hubs for Logitech and Thrustmaster. Check your hub's bolt pattern before ordering if you are unsure.

How do I look after suede?

Brush it with a soft nylon brush across the grain every few weeks to lift the nap back up. Avoid solvents and household cleaners. Race gloves make the biggest difference — suede lasts far longer when skin oils never reach it.
