Your Gear and Your Revs, in One Place

The Raceact Gear Matrix shows the gear you are in alongside a live RPM shift light sequence. Glancing down at a virtual dash costs you a fraction of a second and pulls your eyes off the corner — the Gear Matrix puts both readings directly in your line of sight, where you never have to look away to find them.

Where It Earns Its Place

A gear display matters most in the cars where you lose track. H-pattern boxes in rally and classic racing, long sequential gearboxes, and any car you are still learning. Missing third for fifth on a downshift is the kind of mistake that ends a race, and it happens because you were reading the corner instead of the dash.

Full SimHub Control

Everything runs through SimHub, so RPM thresholds, colour sequences, brightness and flash behaviour are all yours to set. Save a profile per car and it switches automatically. Works with iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, F1, Dirt Rally and Euro Truck Simulator 2, among others.

FAQs

What is the difference between this and the RevLight?

The RevLight is a pure RPM bar — a progressive light sequence telling you when to shift. The Gear Matrix does that too, but adds a gear number display so you can see which gear you are in at a glance. Choose the RevLight if you race cars with sequential boxes you know well and only need shift timing. Choose the Gear Matrix if you drive H-pattern cars, rally, trucks, or anything where losing track of your gear is a real risk.

Can I use both together?

Yes. SimHub runs multiple devices at once, so a Gear Matrix and a RevLight work side by side with no conflict. Each is configured separately, which means you can put the gear display where your eyes naturally fall and mount the RPM bar higher in your peripheral vision. Plenty of racers run both for exactly that reason.

Do I need SimHub, and is it free?


Yes, the Gear Matrix runs through SimHub on PC. SimHub is free to download and use, with an optional paid version that adds features you do not need for this device.

Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?


No. It reads live telemetry from your PC, so it needs a PC-based sim. Console games do not expose the data it depends on.

Which cable length do I need?


1.5m works if your PC sits close to the rig. Choose 3m if your PC is under a desk, across the room, or your cable run is long. When in doubt, take the longer one.
