FAQs

Which mount should I choose — K400+ or universal?

Pick the K400+ cradle if that is the keyboard you use, since it is shaped to hold that exact model with no slack. Pick the universal holder for any other keyboard, including full-size boards, tenkeyless and compact wireless models. Both versions use the same arm and mounting hardware.

Will it fit my rig?

It mounts to 40-series aluminium extrusion, also known as 8020 or 4040 profile. That covers most aluminium profile cockpits including Sim-Lab, Trak Racer, Next Level Racing and GT Omega profile rigs. It does not fit tube-frame or folding wheel stands, which have no extrusion slot to bolt into.

Does the keyboard move during force feedback?

No. The arms lock into position rather than floating, so the tray stays put through wheel shake and hard shifts. That is the difference between this and a generic monitor-arm style mount, which tends to drift under vibration.

Can I swing it out of the way while racing?

That is the point of the dual-arm design. It folds back along the profile and clears your driving position entirely, then swings back into reach for menus, telemetry or chat without you leaving the seat.

Can I mount it on either side?

Yes. The arm mounts left or right depending on which side of your rig has space and which hand you prefer to reach with.
