Shift by Light, Not by Sound

The Raceact RevLight puts a live RPM bar directly in your line of sight. A progressive LED sequence shows exactly where you are in the rev range and a flash tells you when to shift. Shifting on engine sound works until you jump into a car you do not know — the RevLight removes the guesswork from the first lap.

Full SimHub Control

The RevLight runs through SimHub, which means every part of the display is yours to configure. Set RPM thresholds per car, choose your colour sequence, pick your flash behaviour and save different profiles for a GT3 car and a formula car. Works with iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, F1, Dirt Rally and Euro Truck Simulator 2, among others.

Plug and Play Installation

Connect it over USB and you are running. Choose the universal holder or a bracket cut to fit your specific wheelbase, and pick the cable length that suits how your rig is laid out.

Took a minute to get to the States but I was aware of that. No problem.

SimHub recognized it quickly. Took me a bit of time to get it working how I wanted but that’s not the products fault. I’m fairly new to SimHub and it’s very customizable within SimHub. There’s various options you can use. Once I figured that out I got it dialed in pretty quick to how I wanted it. Works fantastic with Gran Turismo 7. Well made. Great product.
If you’re having trouble ask ChatGPT it helped me out greatly.
Must have for Sim Racing immersion.

So the actual items looks and size is good and it works well, but the end of the back plate keeps popping out not hard to cure this but annoying, but the worst bit for me is the fact that the cable comes out from one end of the strip with a control block after a few inches which makes it horrible to position without seeing this thick cable & box which for me clearly isn't shown in the pics on the advert, for me going by one of the pics it comes out from behind the unit with the control box on the rear.

FAQs

Do I need SimHub, and is it free?


Yes, the RevLight runs through SimHub on PC. SimHub is free to download and use, with an optional paid version that adds extra features you do not need for this device.

Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?


No. The RevLight reads live telemetry from your PC, so it needs a PC-based sim. Console games do not expose the telemetry data it depends on.

Which games does it support?

Anything SimHub reads telemetry from, which covers almost every major PC sim — iRacing, Assetto Corsa, ACC, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2, the F1 series, Dirt Rally and Euro Truck Simulator 2 among many others.

Which cable length do I need?


1.5m is enough if your PC sits close to your rig. Choose 3m if your PC is under a desk, across the room, or your rig has a long cable run. When in doubt, take the longer one.

Which holder should I choose?


Pick the wheelbase-specific bracket if your base is on the list — it is cut to fit and sits at the right height with no adjustment. Pick the universal holder for anything else, or if you want to mount the bar on your dash or monitor stand rather than the wheel.
