I was extremely hesitant with this wheel given it was twice the cost of the cheaper $45 wheels out there but this was the only wheel I found with the top open which is what I liked. Build quality is excellent as is the fitment. Black carbon front looks great and the suede feeling grip feels nice although I wear gloves. Overall I'm very happy and glad I spent the extra money for a better wheel that I have seen with the open top. Great seller!!

FAQs

Which Thrustmaster wheels does this fit?


The T300RS only. It does not fit the T248, TX, T150, TMX, T500RS or the T300 Ferrari editions, as their hubs use a different mounting pattern. Please confirm your model is a T300RS before ordering.

Should I choose the DTM or the GT3 rim?

The DTM rim is 280mm and open at the top, built for formula, prototype and DTM-style touring cars where your hands stay in a fixed position and you want a clear view of the dash. The GT3 rim is 300mm with a wider profile, better suited to GT3, GTE and endurance racing where you shift your grip over a long stint. If you mostly race open-wheel, this is the one.

Why is a smaller rim faster?

A smaller diameter means less arm travel for the same steering angle, so quick corrections happen sooner. Formula and DTM cars use small rims for exactly this reason. The open top also removes the section of the stock wheel that sits between your eyes and the dash.

Do I lose any buttons?

No. All stock buttons and dials stay accessible, and your paddle shifters remain in their original position.

Is it reversible?

Yes. Nothing is drilled or permanently altered. Your original rim goes back on whenever you want.
