Built for the T300RS
The T300RS gives you strong belt-driven force feedback, but its stock rim was designed as a general-purpose wheel. If you race formula or GT3 cars, the round shape works against you: it obscures the lower screen and gives you no fixed hand reference point mid-corner.
These mods replace the rim while keeping the base, hub and electronics untouched. The DTM-style formula rim suits open-wheel and prototype racing. The GT3 rim keeps a partial upper section for the wider hand positions endurance racing calls for.
Installation
Mounting uses the T300RS hub's existing bolt pattern, so nothing is modified or drilled. Paddle shifters remain in their original position and all face buttons stay accessible. Follow our Thrustmaster installation guide and budget around twenty minutes.
Which rim should you choose?
Pick the formula rim if most of your seat time is in F1, F2, Super Formula or open-wheel iRacing series. Pick the GT3 rim if you run GT3, GTE, touring cars or endurance events where you change hand position over a long stint. If you switch between both regularly, the formula rim handles GT racing better than a GT3 rim handles open-wheel, so it is the safer single choice.
